Couldn't get enough of Briar & Cormac's story. Final book in the series. Lots of twists & turns keeping you on the edge of your seat. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book.

Cormac's deception is catching up to him
This is the final book in the Briar-Cormac trilogy, but notCormacthe last book in the Downing Family series. That keeps going with book seven—which should be a big one.
It’s all finally hitting the fan. Cormac and Briar are dealing with the fallout from secrets and lies (mostly his). Briar is devastated and angry, but not just at Cormac. She also she also has to face her own family’s lies and mob activity.
Cormac got close to Briar to spy on the Downings for Marcos Castellano. Is there a way out of this without betraying Briar even more or Marcos thinking he’s a traitor and killing him…or Briar?
It's an ok book--not the worst, not the best. Just average. And it feels like a second half or last third of a story, not an entire book.
I sort of like the way all the books in this universe are all listed under the Downing Family title and numbered accordingly. It shouldn’t be confusing and keeps them easily identifiable as related stories and characters.

An action packed roller coaster of emotions! Highly Recommend this entire series!

I love this series! Somehow Cassie Wild finds a way to maintain my interest with this family through 6 books now, and I can't help but wish for 100s more if they are half as good as these have been so far.
This was the last part focused solely on Cormac and Briar. Part 3 is the most twisted of all the series to date, or at least it is to me, but I am impressed with the universe Cassie has created and how it just keeps getting more developed with each edition.

If you've been reading this series, then you know Cormac has been straddling the fence trying to keep Marcos Catellanos appeased and keep Briar Downing from being hurt. As you read this one, I promise you, Cassie Wild has found a way to grab hold of her readers and not let go until the very end and that's only so we can finally release the breath we've been holding. The plot continues to unfold and thicken all in a seamless flow with such a plethora of emotion tied to it. Absolutely outstanding!

This is book 6 in this series and idiot Cormac just keeps digging himself deeper and deeper in trouble!!
I got so frustrated with him! He had so many chances to tell Briar about what he was paid to do and that it was all a mistake. But, being a man, he said nothing until it's too late!
This was a great addition to the series! It was full of hot sexy scenes and twists and turns!! Looking forward to reading the next book in this series!!

OMG OMG this book is the bomb I have never been left hanging for what comes next as with this book boy what a cliff hanger ending such a shame that it ends from Briars side of the story.
If you are thinking of reading this book first without reading the pervious you will surely be missing out, get on this series as I said it is the bomb and will definitely give you fireworks.

I absolutely love this series! The Downing Family never disappoints! The chaos and romance and family drama is exciting! Briar and Cormac are so cute! They prove that love can overcome anything! Although i am so over Marcos and all his crap. Someone beeds to handle him. And the cliffhanger at the end??? What the heck... i need to know that Isabel is ok. Im freaking out... Cant wait for the next book...

Oh boy, do I love this series!! His Guilt may be the conclusion to Briar and Cormac's story, but it ends with a massive cliffhanger.
The writing sucks you into Briar and Cormac's world. You'll be rooting for them as their chemistry is off the charts hot. The mystery and suspense will keep you engaged needing to know what happens next.
I can't wait for the next story! That's a spin I didn't see coming!

Disappointing
First of all this book was advertised as a final as book 6 and it wasn't. Book7 is due in January???? This was a final of just Cormac and Briar, nothing else. I'm disappointed in this author with this book. Cormac lied constantly, and Briar for being a physician was absolutely clueless in so many areas. Major gripe.........This ended in a cliff hangar! Too much filler, not enough storyline.

Just finished this book (what a quick read!) and this book definitely had more action/activity to it than the last couple. I feel for Briar in her content battle of her family's truth and trying to discover truth about Cormac but part of me can't believe how her and Cormac always resort to sex...can she seriously not hold a grudge? Shocked at the cliffhanger at the end and I'm already anxious for the next book to come out.

This was an incredible read from start to finish...
This is a book you won't want to put down, you'll be hooked from the start, I enjoyed reading it. I'd recommend your book to anyone. The only time I put it down was to take care of a drink.

This is the sixth book in the series but the third book about Cormac and Briar and things are really starting to heat up. Isabel is keeping secrets from Sean and Cormacs secrets that he is keeping from Briar have really hit the fan. The Downings are in trouble will they be able to keep the family safe and the cliffhanger on this book will knock you for a loop

It was one of the hardest books to read,I liked the Brair and Cormak books!
We all know that Cormak betrays Briar and they meet all is planned
At first, I didn't know what to think about Cormak, his behavior was the cold and cruel
This last book was so emotional
I liked that the author started this book peacefully as much as possible,
even if Briar learned something about Cormack.
The other half of the book was on the action and very traumatic and shocking😢
