This is a somewhat technical commentary on the style of the various authors of the New Testament in the original Greek. It focuses on the particular idiosyncrasies of the various authors with special attention to Semitic influence, vocabulary and grammar and in some cases source material. In order to make sense of this book you'll probably need about a year of Greek under your belt minimum and a basic knowledge of Hebrew as well as an understanding of source criticism and of course a good foundation knowledge of the New Testament as a whole. In some places it is difficult to understand, but it is well researched and informative. If you have the necessary knowledge of Greek you will probably learn a great deal about the personal style of the various authors of the NT through this book.
