Fools Rush In

Rate this book
Mike Fitzgerald had been a busy, successful, big city lawyer, but when his billings took a dip, his boss let him go. After rebuilding a life in a smaller town, Fitz was enjoying an idyllic life with an easy job at the State's Attorney's office during the day, and a lovely wife, and two lovely daughters to come home to each evening. At least until things got very complicated in the course of one Friday night. Suddenly his quiet community had multiple murders, international drug kingpins, undercover DEA agents, and federal prosecutors all connected to a case that didn't make sense. When his family was involved, Fitz had to struggle to leave things in the hands of the appropriate people, while investigating the dangerous killers had held his wife hostage during that fateful evening.
