Amazing Creativity Asset but Something Missing
Think Like Da Vinci is a great book. It lists theories on how to produce creativity in oneself. There are loads of tips and tricks used by many great creators, not just Da Vinci. Some idea generators I have already chosen as my go-to exercises. Some not so much.
Another good part was the Introduction that discussed the myths of creativity, such hemisphere thinking and viewing ideas as something that just happens. I have definitely changed my view of being able to be creative.
Something feels missing though. Maybe it's the presentation of the material or the writing style but something non-quantifiable is definitely there. I still highly recommend this book and do not view it as a waste of money.

Some good tips were shared for developing your own creative abilities, but nothing in-depth. This book was self-published. Very much surface level and more like a bit of a pep talk than a serious discussion on how to create like DaVinci. In fact, very little of the book related to DaVinci; he was ONE of the inventors/artists from whom the author took cues & advice to compile his tools for cultivating creativity.

easy to read and good insights
I really liked reading this book as it was very easy to read. In the book you get practical advice on how you can spark your creativity. After every chapter there's a short summary and also at the end of the book. mostly I don't like summaries but here I found it amazing just as a short recap of the concepts touched in the chapter.

Thought provoking
I've heard of the men that he used as examples, but the author showed them in a new light. Never thought about it before but am now trying out some of his suggestions.
