Teenage love is a beautiful thing, when it’s with the right person. Brandon Harris and Gabrielle Anderson had the love that even adults dream of having, but at the hand of her father she loses it all. 20 years later, Brandon and Gabrielle attempt to mend their broken relationship and lost years but there’s a catch; Gabrielle’s husband won’t let things go without a fight. Will Brandon and Gabrielle be able to hold on or will her husband ruin her relationship with Brandon as her father did over 20 years ago?
Whew! I had to get my emotions in check numerous times. I really was an emotional wreck! Gabby’s dad had me wanting to shake some sense into him! I’m all for wanted what’s best for your child but is it really worth it when their happiness is on the line? I truly believe she wouldn’t have had to deal with that fool Bill! I cried when she gave the baby up! As life went on, and realize what bill was doing, I was angry with her. I felt as though all her life she tried to please her parents to the point where she was being physically abused and covered it up. Sad it was for Bianca to have died, but God used her to bring this family back together. I was happy to see they welcomed Lil brandon and showed him unconditional love. So sad that Papa Brandon died! They hadn’t even had a chance to enjoy their marriage. In the midst of that tragedy, they were blessed with new life (Gabriel) and giving Brett a second chance at life. Awesome read
Very good storyline , books about DV are always eye openers . However it could be just me but i felt the story was a bit rushed not to say it was too short bc it was just right but i just didn’t care for how fast everything moved along i.e her time in boarding school, her 4 years in college , i think i just needed more details in certain situations so that it could have bigger impact . Overall it was a great read and i know this author will only get better the storyline kept me interested while reading and on my toes .
I'm literally crying at this ending. Gabby and Brandon were so in love as teenagers and her father did everything in his power to tear them apart. Brandon went into the military and it changed him. Gabby gave her and Brandon's son up for adoption without anyone knowing except Savi. Years later they all reconnect because of a tragedy and end up being torn apart once again. This book really had me in my feelings.
I cried for Brianca and Brandon. Bill was wrong. I was happy for Brett and Brandon and Jessica. Savi was my girl. Gabi dad was wrong. I knew he wanted the best for her. It was Brandon. Don't wanna tell to much. Glad I toke a chance on All Because Of You. I truly enjoyed this book
If a few things were changed and the genders reversed, this story could have been penned by me. I faced such events in my own long-ago youth and I related to this book. Five stars, author. Well earned.
