Aside from (& in spite of) several careless grammatical & spelling mistakes sprinkled throughout (the designer - & collector - Jeanne Lanvin's name is, at times, alternately spelt 'Jean' instead of the proper 'Jeanne', for instance), the context of the book is - one & at the same time - essentially good; it is also superbly illustrated with photographic plates of some of the finest examples of the various aspects/disciplines of the (French) Art Deco style.
