When Daisy Dorson stomps into The Love Shack dating agency to complain about how useless they are, she ends up getting much more than she bargained for.
An unexpected offer, the people she meets along the way, and the course of events that follow, turn her life upside down.
The Love Shack – a fun, feel-good read, with quirky characters, and plenty of romance...
Tina K Burton is the author of three full novels, a collection of short stories, and a non-fiction book of true greyhound rehoming stories. The proceeds from this book go to charity.
All of these can be found on Amazon.
She’s also got stories in several anthologies, which are also on Amazon.
When she’s not writing, she enjoys walking her greyhound on the moors, and doing her pyrography artwork.
What a cute, gorgeous story. I loved Daisy right from the start with her romantic view on life and her ditzy nature. Her loyalty and trust shines through, no more so than with her best friend, Kris who is such a wonderfully flamboyant character. The Love Shack is a perfect summer read which you will lose yourself in very easily.
Daisy Dorson complains to the Love Shack Dating Agency about the men the firm have paired her with and subsequently finds herself landed with her dream job, that of the firm's new 'matcher'. This book works on two levels for me, in the fascinating mix that is the dating agency's list of clients, so that I was genuinely interested in what happened to each new relationship and then in the character of Daisy herself and her developing relationship with her boss Greg Hanson. The story is gentle, warm-hearted and uncomplicated and I really enjoyed it.
This was a fun read. Set around a dating agency, I enjoyed reading about the different clients and the growing relationship between Daisy and the agency owner.
If you want a lighthearted easy read, this is worth a try.
