Handsome businessman and feared mob boss Sal Gabrini have his hands full when a rival crime boss exploits a vulnerability and thinks he can get away with it. But when she is tried and convicted in an extraordinary courtroom display, the sense of urgency turns into panic. He refuses to let such a blatant miscarriage of justice stand. If he allows them to lock her up, he’s certain she will never see the light of day again. Not on his watch. In the most death-defying episode in their interracial romantic suspense series, Sal and Gemma are on the run, searching for the bad guys who are trying to take them down, while depending on no one but their love, their devotion, and themselves to overcome the incredible, fantastical odds that lay in front of them.

The new Bonnie and Clyde, but better! Mallory, you've created another Gabrini hit. It was thrilling and intense. Now, can I please have Tommy and Grace? And need for it to be just as good or even better than this one.. I see Donny the little peacock is coming into his own. He needs a story similar to when you introduced Jimmy to us. 😉
Mob boss Salvatore Lucianno Gabrini felt like an utter failure. He failed to protect the love of his life, his wife Gemanette Jones Gabrini. When will these people learn? When you come for one, you come for the entire clan, but not this time. Sal couldn't risk it. Gemma's life was on the line. If she was thrown in prison, she would never see the light of day again. Sal couldn't have that, she was his life. If something happened to her, Sal couldn't survive and Lucky would be an orphan.
This time, someone was coming not from Sal's past but Gemma's. Someone was going through extraordinary lengths to get back at her. Sal was going to put a stop to it by any means necessary. But, he could not risk the family knowing what plan B was. He, Domi and Mick executed it flawlessly. Sal and Gem left destruction in their wake. Gemma turned out to be the perfect mob boss' gun moll. Domi is older in this story and I can see a future of a book series about him. He is such a character.
Mallory never fails to bring the ultimate in suspense and drama in her stories about the most alpha tight knit mob family there is. These men may be gangsters but they love their wives and family and vow to protect them with their life. Sal showed that he loves Gemma with everything in him in this story. He knows that he is lucky to have her as his wife, even though other people think just the opposite. I thought I would cry when he ask Gemma to forgive him for marrying her because he knows her association with him has brought her too much drama. To Gemma, there was nothing to forgive because without Sal, her life would be so vanilla. Being married to him was priceless. I loved this story, as always, I could not put it down until I was finished with this surprise ending to this "who done it." The epilogue was the icing on the cake, it was so sweet.
First let me say don't ever stop giving us this enjoyment, about this family. This was just what I needed to kick off my holiday reading and it was good to the last drop. The writer gets you right into the thick of things and doesn't let up even at the end.We get to see how far a man will go for the woman he loves.I always knew that Sal would be the one to love really hard.I love when this family comes together and stand together. The writer gives us some horrific events and for some it might be too much, but its what's needed to get you to see the story.and feel it.Now let me tell you at some point Domini is going to have to have his on story, this kid is straight up gangster! I mean at some point his parents are going to have to recognize(more his mom than his dad). This was just all the way good and you are going to love every single moment. There were a few typos and I can agree that should not be happening, but mistakes happen. Please don't be long with the next installment of the Gabrini's.
I don't normally read the Sal Gabrini books however I found the storyline of him and Gemma being on the run very interesting. And was not disappointed. This book was intriguing and surprising. Once again family and friends stepped up to help keep them out of the hands of the law while they hunted down the true villain. Also that darn Dommi played a major part. I can't wait until he starts getting his own series " The Making Of A Don" because we all know that is where he is headed despite Reno and Trina's efforts. I recommend this book, it's another Mallory Monroe hit
I loved this story it had a lot of moving pieces and action. I loved that Gema had Sam's back while they were on the run. Sal came close to losing his life a couple of times. Who would have thought Dommi would have thought about a plan B but I will be looking for his story soon.
There were a lot of grammar errors through out the book but still enjoyed the book a must read.
An Exciting Suspenseful Interracial Romantic Thriller
Sal Gabrini: Come For Me is an exciting suspenseful interracial romantic thriller that earned a rating of five stars. Gemma and Sa!'s love is tested in this episode of Sal Gabrini as Sa! and Gemma .had to fight for her life and her good name. I enjoyed reading this book it was fast pace and a page turner. I thoroughly would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading very good suspenseful romantic thrillers.
I'm not sure how I feel about this book. First there were a lot of stupid typo's. Not Me Monroe's usual standards. My main questions is how old is Dommie now? I've said it from the start, he was born "mob". He is truly something else. I think he needs his own story
Unbe!ievable , you did it again . Never disappointing, breath taking, can't wait to the end, but disappointing to see you go, and can't wait for the next book. 👄💘👍👏
This was a great book. I didn't see the Gemma twist coming. This was not predictable. I loved this book. I read it in like two hours. I'm not gonna give anything away but I will say that this one was not predictable and I loved it. Now on to the next.
The best book MM had written in awhile. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve enjoyed all her books. However, she put her thang down, flipped it, and reversed on this right here.
Piece of trash. Except for the last Reese and Alex books, I have purchased, read, and enjoyed all of Ms Monroe's books. With Sal and Gem being my favorite couple and having waited so lo g for their next saga, I was so so disappointed I this book. It was poorly written and three story line didn't make much sense and disjointed. I think Ms Monroe's needs to fire her ghost writer and she needs to be forced to sit down and read this book herself and then I think she will fell obligated to refund everybody's money back. This book was so poorly written and the story lines so disjointed that I think she felt she could throw this trash out there to her avid readers and followers. Of all her books, I love the Sal and Gem storyline the best.. and after waiting so long for the next Sal Wang Gem saga, this is what I got. I was extremely disappointed. And I'm going to repeat myself here, stop with all the sex scenes and give us actual story lines. I love it when the story line indicate the family relationships dynamics especially Sal and Gem's. I want a refund. After this book, I'm considering giving up Ms Monroe's books.
This book is a piece of trash and I want a refund. With the exception of the law Reese and Alex books, I have purchased, read, and enjoyed all 's Monroe books. Sal and Gem are my favorite couple. After waiting so long for their next saga, this is what I get. This book was so poorly written and the storyline so disjointed and just didn't make at Sen s e. I this 's Monroe needs to fire her ghost s t writer and be forced to sit down and read this book herself. Just be c cause we are avid readers of her books, I'm beginning to think she's taking advantage and just throw in out anything. Also, enough with the sex, give us more actual dialogue especially about the family. I love seeing the human side of Sal. After this book, I'm considering giving up 's Monroe's books. I hope my comments don't show up as a duplication. I I initially wrote my comments in the wrong space.
I have read all your books - you are one of the authors who I loved and order your books without even reading the storyline samples, I just order. I have noticed that instead of the women in your books getting stronger - they are not. They just do what their husbands tell them to do. I figured eventually the wives would have more backbone but they are the same as several years ago in the storyline. I remember the first time Reno beat Trina I figured all stories need a horrible person/experiences BUT now in this book Sal is now also beating his wife like a child and it's to get her to understand and listen to him as if she is an idiot and words don't work. Everyone loves an alpha male but switch him beating her on her butt to hitting her in the face - there really is no difference. I am so upset that I won't get to read anymore of your books. My fear soon the other characters will start beating their wives too. I know you are probably saying so long to me as a fan, love isn't fair but all your books end with happily ever after for the most part so why the beatings. I've enjoyed your books for the last maybe 10 years at least.
I don't know about this current book on Sal and Gamma it didn't excite me like previous storyline e about this vibrant couple. It's great to see that Gemma's law practice has grown bigger as she has staff working for her.
This story did not grab me much this time, with characters from Gemma's past coming in and causing all types of confusing situations, with some mysterious entity (Arthur Hexler) causing all these big men running scared of him an unknown person. Nah, sorry to say Mallory this story is very weak and thrown together, didn't make much sense to me. This is my first ever 3* rating on a Mallory Monroe writing to date.
Sorry Mallory, this story did nothing for me. Please do better in the next Sal and Gemma story, I'm sure you have the next one lined up and I'll give a better rating.
Skip the prologue if you want to enjoy… If you really want to enjoy these Skip the prologue because they always give away too much of the story. Sal is my favorite character but this one was a let down. The author brought the entire family down soooo many levels with this one and all for that? This guy was really a nobody and he's able to do what seasoned vets couldn't? He took not just Sal out but the family out? I see the author is pushing for Dommi, I'm sure we'll see a story about him soon but after this one I have to say I'm disappointed that not even Mick was able to get anything just because the Feds were watching, when have they not?
This is my two favorite couples in my favorite book.
Sal though clearly racist, became one of my favorite couples. Now you have him physically abusing his wife life, like Reno, was touch for me. What next? Are you going to have Tommy beat Grace! If you think this is sexy or needed in a so called romance novel, you need a grip. I reject that idea and will stop reading this author's books as long as she thinks abuse is sexy or errors. If you did this to cover up a weak story line, it didn't work.
I Have About 15 Books From This Series Maybe More. But, I Stop Reading After It Got To Be Repetitious. The Women Refusing To Acknowledge The Men They Married Were Dangerous And They Continued To Put Themselves In Harms Way. It Has Gotten Old. I Love This Entire Family And I Look Forward To Catching Up.
This has to be the best of all Monroe romantic thrillers, ever! Great characterization! Fantastic plot twists and turns! Steamy sex! Dynamic storyline! Kept me guessing in to the very end. Who knew?
This one was drama packed but I sat on the edge of my seat and read until I was finished. I will now read from the trial on without the tense feeling of what's next. I just love Sal and Gemma and could not stand for anything other than an HEA!!
Another great story about my favorite family, story line great , held my attention until the end. Lot's of action and drama.can't wait for the next book.
I have read all of Sal and Gemma Gabrini books. They are awesome, I hated for them to end. Malloy girl you are an awesome writer. Please continue to write.
Boy-oh-Boy!!! Excitement never ends for this family.... All of the kids are growing up, fast and furiously, will Sal & Gemma expand their family??? They should.
This installment of Sal & Gemma had me all over the place. It amazes me how Mallory is able to bring back enemies and we as reader remember some and we don’t. This installment has some surprise as to who was out to get Gemma. The two lawyers that is working for Gemma, I was surprise she hired them especially the way they talk about her behind her back you would think they was kids the way they were acting. They say keep your enemy close and she did. This story was all about Gemma, something that had happen in past. Also there is a scene in the book that I didn’t particular cared for, and I often wonder why after this scene happen that it wasn’t talked about any more, I would have like to know if Gemma had gotten help, and whatever happen to the man that kidnaped her and Sal. I am always leaving with questions after reading Mallory book.
This is my favorite couple and often wonder why she put Sal & Gemma through so much then she put the other couple through.
Hats off once again to Ms Monroe. I am happy too finally see a picture of Gemma gracing the cover. It was long overdue, she's exactly how I pictured her. The laughs, thrills, and edge-of-your-seat suspense had me turning pages until the end, trying to figure out how they were going to get out of this. Who would of thought Dommi would be part of the master plan and the middle man. A true boss in the making. Thanks Mallory Monroe, job well done!
