When Morgan Smith is recruited from the faculty of his university to join the ultra conservative staff at the White House, his personal integrity gradually becomes challenged. As part of a newly created Media Analysis Section (MAS), its mission is to control the content and means of mass communication through subversive legislation. But the group’s dark activities are where its real power lies. As Smith begins to fully understand the web of deceit within the administration, he subversively rebels and takes action. The highly charged screenplay is one of personal danger, assassination, flight, and a nation’s fundamental democratic crisis. Set in 1983, the story foreshadows today’s world of political deceit.
