Notes: Fundamental Beliefs:
1. Belief in Allah, his angels, his books, his messengers, the last day, and the belief in the divine decree, the good of it and e evil of it.
3 categories of Tawheed are Tawheed Al-Rububiyah (to single Allah out alone with lordship), Tawheed Al-Uluhiyyah (to single Allah out alone with worship), and Tawheed Al-Asma wa Al-Sifat (to single Allah out alone with his names and attributes).
2. Iman (faith) comprises of speech, action, and belief.
3. Do not declare any of the Muslims to be disbelievers UNLESS they commit an action that is a nullifier from those things that nullify Islam. Major sins that are lesser than shirk does not take one out of Islam because of Allah's words in Surah Al Nisa: verse 48.
*Sahih International*
Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.
4. Obeying the Muslim leaders as long as they do not command with disobedience, then it is impermissible to obey them.
5.. Impermissibility of rebelling against a Muslim leader if they commit a wrongful act which is lesser than disbelief.
6. Purity of their hearts and tongue towards the companions of the messenger of Allah PBUH.
7. Love and show alliance to the family of the Messenger PBUH that are righteous. To love the mother of the believers رضي الله عنهم.
8. Believe in the miracles of the Awlia (close allies of Allah). This is not the same as witchcraft.
9. When presenting an argument is to follow that which is found in the Quran (Book of Allah) and the Sunnah of the Messenger PBUH, and which all of the companions were upon.
