After graduating from university, I travelled around India for the best part of 15 months. This book is a collection of essays produced from those travels.
There is a focus on the practices of spirituality and meditation found in India, and also a commentary on the differences between the Western and South Asian approaches to life.
Disclaimer: I'm very much biased because Awais is a friendly I respect, but his book is full of multiple interesting thoughts he's collected together. As he points out, his travel experience is not something you can live vicariously, but there is value in seeing him dissect the differences between the different cultures he has lived in. The one that probably sticks with me the most is the idea of "boxyness" and how that affects the way we treat others, both in the West and in India.
