William Mangieri writes mostly speculative fiction, in the flavors of sci-fi, fantasy, and VERY light horror, seasoned with some humor. He does also write some detective stories (check out his Detective Jimmy Delaney series.) He honed his skills on short fiction (he has about 100 stories available) and completed writing his first novel in 2019 (Swordsmaster - since re-released as Swordsmaster: Awakening) which was followed by Swordsmaster: Deception in 2023. He's been published in Daily Science Fiction, The Arcanist, Flash Fiction Magazine, and DreamForge, with yet another story pending in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. Eight of his stories have earned Honorable Mentions in the Writers of the Future contest.
