Union Pacific sent the SP's famed Daylight locomotive with a full trainload of passengers on a seven week journey from Portland to New Orleans and then home to Cheyenne. This book shows everything from the tuneups and trial runs (and there were some serious problems!) to the joyful run past happy throngs. 64 pages.
