The story is told from the husband’s perspective, Lauren his wife of 6 years is a few years younger than him in her late 20’s. They appear happily married although we find that she cheated on him with one of his best friends some time ago.
A Facebook message changes their relationship for ever. It was from her first platonic boyfriend Matthew from junior years, who she hasn’t seen since she married, His hard luck story about his failing marriage, leads to social/counselling meetings with Lauren. These meetings make Lauren feel that she married too early and there is a yearning in her to be slutty.
Although she confesses stepping a little over the line with Matthew, the husband is still suspicious, angry and also unable to ignore that he is turned on by her possible cheating.
This is the shortest and probably by no coincidence the weakest of the 8 Paul Garland’s Cerulean and No Angel series of novels I have read to date. I would however strongly recommend reading both series.

This Is A Tough One
I really like this author, but so far I’m +/- on this one.
So it’s a short story, therefore you have to cut back on your expectations.
The wife gets a message from an old “boyfriend” who wants to get together and talk. She starts a phone message discussion with this guy, with her husband’s approval.
That’s a little strange, but what’s worse is that he keeps excusing her increasingly erotic/pornographic messages.
When he sees her third indiscretion with her lover, he initially flips over it, but then makes it a little erotic as he first takes his wife, making her lover watch, and then he has her lover also take her after the lover first uses his mouth to clean her out.
It goes on from there, mainly with husband and wife talking. By the next day the husband realizes that he’s married to a slut who isn’t going to stop. Since he really loves her, he agrees to let her roam as long as she tells him and doesn’t do it behind his back.
I did like the sexual ending where the husband caught them in the act and then took control making the lover watch him and finally making the lover take her while he watched.
But the beginning was lame. Granted at the end we realized he was somewhat a cuckold. But the excuses that he made of the sexual texting that she did with her lover were so ridiculous that it made it hard to keep reading.
So I can’t just say that “all’s well that ends well”. I have to downgrade it to no more than a 3, almost saying 2.
