I just ripped through this entire series and loved every word. So I was eager for Cassie and Brad's story and the author like always did not disappoint.
This book held it all... Angst, suspense, emotion and passion, love and lust.
Brad's living life, his job as an escort gives him money and the benefits and everything else that come along with it? Well, that's the dream, right? Well, it was but then he met Cassie. I loved how he was always truthful. It showed her had respect for her. He didn't hide anything from her.
Cassie hasn't had the best luck in life and it goes back to when she was younger. Her brother is an asshole and I wanted to throat punch him. I hated that Cassie let him treat her that way. She allowed him to be hateful and horrible to her. But karma always pulls through somehow!
These two together were perfect. Brad was perfect for Cassie for so many different reasons. Their connection and chemistry were intense and thick. I knew the moment they were together that they were meant to be and that only strengthened as the book progressed. Brad was always honest with Cassie, and never lead her own, and he didn't hide the way he felt either. I think they were both perfect for each other. Both balancing each other out.
Ms. Knight has become a fast favorite of mine over the last few weeks and I am completely in love with everything she writes and just like all her books. This was extremely well written, captivating, drama-filled and pretty damn steamy.

Gin & Jewels had me up reading into the night. I was hooked from the moment of Brad's very vocal denial. He asked a stranger, Cassie, to confirm he was correct in front of his friends in a casino. He might as well have screamed from the roof top "I'm going to fall, and fall hard!"
Brad is loving life as an escort. The money is good and the benefits are even better. Why would he want to give it up? Maybe it is crossing paths with Cassie again, or the danger they seem to find them selves in, but life is changing.
The author has developed a couple of really nasty characters. They are cold. They are self centered. They are devious. They had my stomach turning. They could destroy any hope of Brad and Cassie having a future.
Whatever it is that makes you react, get ready to be on the edge of your seat. Make sure you grab some popcorn because this thrilling, suspenseful romance will have you flipping page after page wanting, no needing to know what is going to happen next. These are two people that if they didn't have bad luck then they would have no luck at all.

I liked the story. The story has a clear message in my opinion and it shows that the right thing to do is usually the hardest thing. Brad and Cassie went through some of the tougher things but their love and their perseverance speaks for their trials.
I couldn’t get enough of this book. I wanted to keep on going and I’m incredibly glad that I got the chance to be able to read this book. I would definitely recommend reading the previous 4 books in the series

I really liked Brad and Cassie’s story. It had a little bit of everything. Tragedy, life struggles, steaminess and love. The main point in their story was how to choose between the only family you have left and doing the right thing. It was something a little different and I liked that.

The latest installment in the Saddles & Racks series is fantastic! It's action-packed, swoonworthy, and a book that I couldn't put down. I'm reading the series backwards - I started with this one and am working my way to the beginning - but this book is definitely fine to read as a standalone. While I do recommend you read the whole series, it's OK to jump in now and fall in love with all the characters.
Cassie and Brad don't really start out as two people you'd think would be together, but once their chemistry becomes evident, their relationship takes off. There are a couple of twists in the book that definitely had me gasping out loud - and for a quick second, I expected the book to just end because some of the things that happen just seem so finite (you'll see what I'm saying as you read it). Cassie and Brad have to overcome so much personal and emotional baggage to even have a shot at love, and this books gets really deep really fast in some parts. It's a definite pageturner that you'll love.

Wow! This book completely rocked my world!
Brad & Cassie’s story was amazing. I felt so bad for Cassie’s story and how badly her brother treated her, especially regarding her inheritance. Brad is working at Saddle & Racks when he first meets Cassie at her job at the casino. They had immediate chemistry. Cassie gets a job at a jewelry store, and when her brother and his friend find out about it, they decide to rob the place. Unfortunately, Brad just happens to be at the jewelry store when the robbery happens …..
I really liked Brad and Cassie together in this story since both have HUGE hearts. What Cassie goes through is absolutely horrible, but thankfully when the unthinkable happens, Brad is there to save the day.
Out of all of the Saddles & Racks books, I think this one is definitely my favorite. The story was well written with just enough angsty drama to keep it entertaining. I highly recommend reading this book!

Oh boy! Another 2 stars for my shelf. This is my first read by Miss Knight. And... Gin& Jewels really need a good editing.
The characters are off, there is no chemistry, the plot is so ridiculous. And everything seems to be rushed.
Needless to say, I am bump. Need a good book....

I absolutely loved reading Gin & Jewels, book 5 of the Saddle & Racks series. It is an instant love story where life gets in the way, and the universe seals their destiny. Brad and Cassie are simply made for each other, and it becomes obvious every time fate brings them together.
The story is fast-paced, and the character development is phenomenal. Bradley "Brad" Rhodes is a former marine trained to serve and help others. He has lived in Vegas since he left the Corps and works as a male escort for Saddles & Racks. He has vowed not to join the Fallen, his former colleagues of S&R who are now in loved and married. Enter one Cassandra "Cassie" Davidson, a 21-year-old Vegas native who has worked to make ends meet since his parents died when she was fifteen. She is sweet and naive and has a heart of gold.
Fate will make sure they meet over and over. Striking an odd friendship, they fall in love quickly. But when life takes them apart, the universe (or, in this case, Kimberly Knight's pen) makes sure they end up where they are supposed to be. The story is filled with action and plot twits, yet it's funny and light. This is, by far, my favorite book of the series.

Gin & Jewels just became my favorite of the Saddles & Racks series. Brad and Cassie were absolute perfection. I'm a huge fan of a complicated hero with just a enough alpha charm to push me over the edge. Brad has that characteristic in spades.
Cassie has suffered a lot in her short life and I instantly connected with her story. I was rooting for her, emotionally supporting her and most of all nudging her toward Brad.
Kimberly Knight has surpassed my expectations with this beautiful slow burn and suspenseful romance. I cannot recommend it enough.

Ahhhhhhh!!!! I love the Saddles & Racks series so much!! Brad and Cassie are my favorite couple! Cassie is so sweet and innocent even though she has been through so much at the hands of her family. Brad is a hottie that has such a caring and nurturing side. They mesh so well together. This is a stand alone book but you still get to see your other favorite characters too. This book had the best mix of action and romance. I will admit I like my books steamy and super sexy and this one doesn't have as much of that but that is what fit this story and it didn't disappoint. I highly recommend ready this book and the previous books in the series.

The sixth book in this series by Kimberly Knight was such a fun read. It had lots of action yet still was big on romance. Cassie was such a naive girl when we first meet her and I am guessing that what happened to her when she was 16 really shaped her behavior. Brad was such a sweetie and I loved how involved he was helping Cassie and eventually falling for her. Really good plot, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. All the books in this series are standalones, and even though I have read the others, I don’t think that made this book any less enjoyable.

Sometimes it’s hard to chose between ones’ family and doing the right thing and that is the situation Cassie finds herself in.
When Brad and Cassie finally come together, their blossoming relationship will be put to the test when Cassie suddenly disappears. Will Brad be able to save the woman who has come to mean so much to him or will the past destroy their chance of happiness?
Gin & Jewels had suspense, danger, intrigue, steamy scenes and characters that you couldn’t help but like. It was also great to see some familiar faces popping in which added to the experience.

Brad is hot as sin and cassie is inspirational heroine who fights every bad thing that comes her way. Kimberly has out done herself yet again! Cannot wait for the next of the S&R boys to join "The Fallen"

And, without giving anything away, I would like to add that Cassie's brother is a POS. I have relatives like him, and I've seen what they do to a family--people they supposedly love. As Kimberly infers, blood is not always thicker than water. Sometimes the family we choose is stronger than the one we are born into.
I cannot recommend this book enough...and if you haven't read this series...

This is Cassie and Brad’s story and Book #5 in the Saddles & Racks series. This is my most favorite book of the series yet!! I read it in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down! The storyline was engaging, heartwarming, and loaded with the all the feels. The characters are likeable, their chemistry sizzling, and their connection beautiful. This story has it all action, suspense, twists and turns, romance and love.. it will keep you entertained and on the edge of your seat until the very end. This was such an amazing read, I highly recommend you give it a read you won't be disappointed!!

I love this series and this latest book was everything I was hoping for. Brad and Cassie are perfect characters and their journey is captivating. This book has it all, depth, angst, hurt, friendship, romance love and emotion. Brad and Cassie story will take you on the most heat felt emotional rollercoaster. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I have found my new favorite in this series and I don't want to let go. Bradley and Cassie have a relationship full of angst and emotion that filled my heart (while definitely breaking it at times too). I absolutely loved this read and how Kimberly packed everything in it from the emotions and some suspense with some unexpected twists and turns.

Gin & Jewels is the first book I have read from the series Saddles & Racks. It can be read as a standalone. I did not feel lost of confused by not reading the previous 5 books, so do not let that deter you from reading this one. I really liked Brad and Cassie. I felt like their story was a little different from the usual plot line.
Cassie has had a string of bad luck, starting when she was a teenager. She stayed strong and persevered through it all. The only thing that bugged me was she did not stand up to her brother and allowed him to treat her horribly. Her Brother was very hateful towards her and he got what he deserved.
Brad was a good for Cassie, I liked his honesty with her from the beginning. He did not try to hide anything from her or lead her on. He did seem to fall for her quickly, but it wasn't exactly instalove which sometimes be hard to believe.
Overall this book had it all, drama, love, some steamy shower moments and not to ruin it, but a happy ending. I definitely recommend reading this book. I plan to go back to the first one in this series and start reading it from the beginning.

So this is my first time meeting this crew of characters and I very much enjoyed Cassie and brads story. I will definitely be moving on to the rest of the crew as soon as I get a free minute. This book brought me all the feels and I definitely needed to tissues I had in my pocket, what Cassie’s brother and his friends did was disgusting and horrible but I’m glad brad was there to save the day. The relationship between brad and Cassie was beautiful if a little speedy but sometimes that’s how love is and there is just not stopping it. I will definitely be recommending this series.

I’m a big fan of this series and Cassie and Brad’s story did not disappoint. I started this story and next thing I knew a few hours went by and I finished. It has love, some suspense and sizzling chemistry, not to mention appearances from other characters in the series. When two characters find one another when they least expect it and give each other what they never knew they wanted, you know you found a great story. This is one series you do not want to miss.

I enjoyed this book. Brad is the ex-marine and working for Saddles and Racks and Cassie is a waitress. It’s a story with plenty of drama, angst, friendships. Brad and Cassie get close and personal, and rotten family members causing trouble. It’s a rocky road for them but they hang on. Great writing and characters, I’m looking forward more in the series.

Cassie is so sweet and innocent. What a heartbreaking 22 years she has lived. I liked her immediately and wanted to give her a big hug. Brad is a military man and a true hero but very humble and down to earth. The way he took care of his mother and Cassie melted my heart.
The beginning of the book had a lot of back story that was important to the plot, but it did make the story a bit slow and plodding at first. Once the action picked up, I was gripped and couldn’t stop reading. What a ride! I was on the edge of my seat!

5 I need Bradley in my life today Stars!!! OMG Kimberly has done it again, she's made me fall in love with a book character!
After devouring the first four books, I knew that I was going to need the next one in the series! And I can officially say that this one is my absolute favorite in the series! I loved the development or Cassie and Bradley's relationship. I loved the twists and turns this book took, just when you thought you'd figure out where it was going, Kimberly took into a different direction!
This book is full of action, suspense, and passion! I dare you to not fall in love with this book and these characters! Kimberly knows how to write a store that will just capture you mind, body and soul and when it's over you feel like a part of you is missing!! I will defintely recommend this book to anyone that needs/wants a book!
After devouring the first four books, I knew that I was going to need the next one in the series! And I can officially say that this one is my absolute favorite in the series! I loved the development or Cassie and Bradley's relationship. I loved the twists and turns this book took, just when you thought you'd figure out where it was going, Kimberly took into a different direction!
This book is full of action, suspense, and passion! I dare you to not fall in love with this book and these characters! Loved this story!
Bradley is a strong caring guy who has a big heart. He served his country and now he just wants to have fun with his dates and help his mom out.
Cassie is a sweet girl that has seen a lot of loss and heartache. She wants a family that loves her as much as she loves them.
I loved how Bradley was this big strong sexy guy but he had his sweet momma's boy side too. He sometime seemed to be shy and it just made the story interesting. Then add Cassie and her screwed up brother in and the story had everything it needed. Love, thrills, and twists.

I was given the opportunity to read Gin & Jewels as an ARC for an honest review.
I have been waiting for this book since I finished the fourth book the first time back in July! It was definitely worth the wait! Bradley’s story is so sweet and interesting! Cassie is perfect for him in every single way!
Since this is a new book, I don’t want to give too much away so I will do my best to give a basic premise without giving too many details. Cassie loses her parents at a young age, making it so her older brother is the one taking care of, but he only cares for himself. At eighteen, she realizes that she needs to be the one to make sure she is taken care of so instead of school, she goes to work.
She meets Bradley while at work and their banter is so fun and cute! Bradley is such a sweetheart but he truly believes he isn’t ready for love and fights his attraction for Cassie as much as he can! But you can’t deny love! Their story is full of twists and turns that keep you turning the page wanting to know what happens.
The scenes between them are also super hot, much like the rest of the book. You definitely need a fan to cool you off! Bradley knows how to please a woman, and man… he has me wishing my husband knew some of his tricks.
All in all, it’s not my favorite but it was definitely worth the wait! I am honestly so excited because I know Nick is next and he is the elusive one that you’ve read about in the other books, but you don’t know much of anything so I can’t wait to get to know him!
If you haven’t read the Saddles & Racks series, I suggest starting with Gabe’s story in Angels & Whiskey and work your way up. Even though they are all standalone, you can get more of an in-depth look at the entire world Kimberly created by starting at the beginning.

I love this series so much, and this latest installment did not disappoint! I've been waiting for Bradley's story, and just like all the men before him, he fell hard and fast for his leading lady! I loved how he swore that he wasn't cut out for love and marriage, but he ended up knowing exactly what our heroine needed when she needed it! He was so patient and kind, but also pushed her when she needed it!!
Cassandra has had such a tough life: losing both her parents at such a young age, having her brother be her legal guardian when all he cares about are money and drugs.. She feels all alone. She meets Bradley at his friends bachelor party and is immediately enamoured with the mysterious man who makes her feel things she's never felt before. Cassandra is very naive when it comes to men, but Bradley is always there to help her navigate through the fun of dating and all that comes with it. When danger lurks, and her brothers greed intensifies, will he be able to keep her safe, and keep her love when if all blows up in their faces?
I love the way this author adds suspense to all of her books! It's my favorite part for me, and that's what kept me glued to my kindle while I sped through this book! I loved Bradley comepltley, and though I understand that Cassandra was younger, some of her actions got under my nerves a bit. I'm glad they both for their HEA, and I'm looking forward to more in this series!! :)
