I loved the first two volumes of this series. The characters are memorable, and their bickering friendship is one of my favorite things about the stories. I enjoyed seeing some tales from earlier in the characters' lives in this volume, as well as a better look at the horrifying nature of the Benevolence. If you enjoyed the first two installments, you'll love the third. Siler continues to impress me with his originality and attention to small details that make me want to spend as much time in this setting as possible.

Short fun read. Original characters. Kinda like If Star Wars was directed by Simon Pegg.
