About the author

In 1994, Brenda Jackson’s first novel, Tonight and Forever, was released. Since then she has had more than 100 novels and novellas published (the first African-American author to accomplish such a feat) and has over 3 million books in print.

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Brenda is the first African-American author to have a book published by Harlequin Desire and the first African-American romance author to make the New York Times and USA TODAY bestseller lists within the series romance genre.

In 2012, Brenda received the Romance Writers of America’s Nora Roberts Lifetime Achievement Award—one of the highest literary awards a romance author can receive. In 2013, she was recognized by the mayor and the city of Jacksonville as being a Trailblazer in the literary field.

In 2010, she collaborated with Five Alive Films to turn her Truly Everlasting title into a feature film. Brenda’s 2011 novel A Silken Thread is scheduled to be filmed with Debbie Allen attached as director in 2015.

I enjoyed 3 out of 4 books 📚 in this set. SENSUAL CONFESSIONS: I loved this 16th book's story line. I loved the hot & steamy scenes. I loved Blade & Sam's characters. I thought Blade was very smooth & sexy. I loved the dialogue between Blade & Sam. I thought Blade met his match when he decided to pursue Sam. Blade & Sam was a perfect match for each. Great job Ms. Jackson. INSEPARABLE: I loved this 17th book's story line. This story surprised me. The killer was crazy. I loved the updates on the other Madarises. I loved Reese & Kenna characters. I loved ending. This book is definitely one of my favorites in this series because I can relate to Reese & Kenna. SURRENDER: This 10th book's story line was okay. I enjoyed learning the facts about the Indians. I liked the ending. I liked all the secondary stuff in this story more than the main characters. Ashton & Nettie was kind of boring to me. SEDUCED BY A STRANGER: I'm sorry I stopped reading this story at chapter 4 because the storyline or the characters didn't grab my interest.

JUST WOW!!

This is yet but another WONDERFUL story!! I loved the relationship between Kenna and Reese and the suspense. I just can get enough of Brenda Jackson’s books.
