Her secret magical ability could put herself and everyone she loves in danger.
Jen, a human chameleon, can transform herself into any inanimate object she touches—an ability she’s hidden from everyone, especially her parents. That is, until she meets Ainsley, a handsome artist with paintings so beautiful that Jen wants to jump inside them and become one with the fantastical worlds. Which, for Jen, is actually a possibility…
When Jen and Ainsley go out on a date after the gallery opening, Jen senses there is something special about Ainsley, too: He has a secret…just like hers. For the first time in her life, she has met someone who can truly understand her, who knows her secret without her saying a word.
Of course, they’d make the perfect couple. Except for one thing.
His secret could kill her.

I received a free ebook copy in exchange of an honest review.
It was a really nice read, it caught me since the beggining, Jenn is a nice, pleasant, eighteen year old girl that is gifted with a special talent but lonely and the only person she can trusts is her little brother until she met a mysterious girl named Brooklyn and she has a secret/talent too. Now Jenn will know that vampires, witches, werewolves and maybe other paranormal and fantastical creatures exist, that she is not the only one that is different. And love can't be missing ;) This series is about 7 short books and the first one began with a great start, now if you don't mind I'll begin with book 2.
I really enjoyed this book! Jen is a teenager who happens to be anything but normal ---she is a human chameleon meaning that she can transform herself into any inanimate object she touches. An ability she’s hidden from everyone, except a couple people. She meets Ainsley, a handsome artist at a gallery showing. His paintings are so amazing and lifelike Jen wants to jump inside them. When they go out on a date after the gallery opening, Jen senses there is something special about Ainsley too. She wonders how he can know things about her like what restaurant she wants to eat at without saying a word.
Karin De Havin has created an amazing original paranormal story. Her plot is refreshing and fun. Jen’s personality is spot on. The way she is introduced into the paranormal world was funny and engaging. I really enjoyed reading about Jen and her witch BFF. When she meets the handsome artist at his gallery opening things really heat up. I can’t wait to read the next episode!
