Thoughts that Rusty and Debra had elope and to find the car and a body inside are now being pulled from the reservoir . The reality of friends in high school, of who the five were dating, or broke up to date another, now fifteen years later. The news it was murder, happening same night as a robbery, which some connected to Rusty. Debra was an only child, pampered, and he would need money. Or the sheriff thinks a love triangle, Good twisted plot, with what motive one wonders, they were so young. One of them is lost into grief and depression. Or guilt because her father trusted him to keep her safe. Good plot to the end, none of them connected the dots, till it was over.

This is a short story of friendship, betrayal that started years before and has come back to haunt all those involved with an horrific incident. Sister authors Vickie Britton and Loretta jackson are amazing. I would love to sit down with this two and just listen as they journey into one story after another.
