Into the Black #16

Moving Forward

Rate this book
Having broken the Pirate clans of the Confederate border with the Free Worlds Alliance, and now possessing a fortress that expands his people's capabilities, Mirikon Mollen, Admiral of the Black Star Fleet, Owner of the Black Star Company, and (when he has time) Captain of the Starlight Raven, sets his sights on a new goal. He's just received a large number of new workers, thanks to the former pirates and their slaves who he captured, and the size of his growing fleet is beginning to make some people nervous. So, never one to simply sit idle and wait for trouble to come his way, he embarks on a plan to bring his major strength out of the public eye, at least for a while.

I'm a rookie author, looking to write stories that I enjoy writing. Not gonna get awards, but honestly, I'm happy with each and every person that reads my work.

Stuart is a sci-fi and anime geek, who dabbles in tabletop and video gaming. He enjoys cosplaying and has gone to DragonCon annually since 2009. Frozen Soul is his first book.

It is a sad, sad day when you finally break down and realize that you will never have the life you wanted, never do the things you wished to do, and never see the things you wanted to see. All because of a stupid lack of lightsabers.

I was a 26 y/o college student at Armstrong Atlantic State University, as a theater major. Went to school for a while before, dropped out, tried to go back, dropped out.. Not much to say other than the fact that I'm a laid back guy, and the only drama I like is the kind that's on the stage.

If I act like an idiot, or do anything to offend you, chances are it is not intentional, and I'm being oblivious. In that case, hit me upside the head, and tell me, because I don't catch subtle hints.

Good read.

It becoming irritating getting to what I feel is 10 to 15 chapters of book before we get the character sheet of the main character which fills the other half of the book. I am to the point that I rather wait several years before revisiting the storyline even if I become interested again. I love the storyline and the characters but it cheapens what completely written books are meant to be.

Stop with the data sheets

Seriously stop with the tables. Nearly half the book. I doubt anyone reads them anymore. This series started as litrpg but has ended up as more of a sci-fi series. The tables no longer add to the story. Don't get me wrong. I still enoy the series but..please..

More excitement for Black Star

This was a build up chapter to a huge break through for our favorite company and it definitely puts you on the edge of your seat for the rewards for this latest labor.

An actual laidback volume

This is a volume of the story that is actually laidback, in contrast to the usual adventures that is and is a nice change of pace.

I really like this story....but...
As his collection of things grow, and the number of people in the story grow, the final pages listing things, abilities and people grow. In this issue, that list is 42 percent of the book!
