I first read this book over 30 years ago, and again to my daughter when she was old enough to enjoy it. I still own that same copy, which I've re-read recently. It's such a lovely book for children, which I highly recommend. While researching the author, I discovered that she also used other pen names, and wrote The First Wives Club. ♥

I am reading this to my girls every night at bedtime. It's a cute story from a doll family's perspective. I checked it out from the library.

This was a cute story told from the doll's perspective. It was a light read and I'd recommend it to young girls.
