The dog is great, but the book is way too long, and there are errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and word usage on nearly every page. Perhaps it may have been better with a good editor.
I don't think I have loved a book more of cried as hard either. It hit a little to close to home for me. I could not put this book down. It was very well written in the third party context. The humor in Ludos logic was clever and reasonable. What a wonderful story and I'm sorry it's over. I've never read this author before but I'm a fan now. Thank you.
A wonderfully written story. Having narrative by the dog is so realistic I have no doubt that if dogs could speak human words the story would sound just as it has been written. Well done! I highly recommend this book for all dog lovers. Many thanks to the author.
The story line is very good, although the ending is predictable (Hello Marley and Me), but the author needs a new editor badly, the typos and poor grammar make some sections almost unintelligible. I gave it 3 stars for the ideas and the adventures written in, but it would have gotten 5 if it had been more carefully edited.
This was a beautifully written book that one can't help but love. It truly shows how deeply our animals love and care for us. If only everyone would care as much for them.
I wonder if this is truly what a dog thinks .I know they are smart and extremely loyal . I know the more you teach them the smarter they get.I enjoyed reading this book immensely!!!!
This is such a thought provoking book. I can now believe my dogs did train me (my cats, too. No offense Ludo & Winston). Any animal lover should enjoy this.
This is a wonderful story of a dog and his person. It is told from the dog's perspective and is so believable. From the beginning of Ludo's life until the very end this story tells of the bond between a dog and his beloved mistress through many trials in their lives together. It is beautifully written and reminds all of us just why we love our dogs so much.
I really enjoyed it true story.I have my little 8lb soulmate max who know me better than anyone i highly recommend this book is so heartfelt well written story thank you.I loved this book so much
Best dog story i have ever read. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has or loved a dog
I just couldn't get into it. After 13 chapters I had to stop. The story intrigued me from the description, but it felt like it was going nowhere. I skimmed a few more chapters which seemed all the same, unfortunately. I am sure there will be many people who like "Your Welcome", any find the promised humor.
I found this book to go very slowly. At times it just plodded along. The big distractions were many, many typos and poor grammar, I, me, she, her errors. How about some 5th grade English composition and grammar. Ending was foreseeable tear jerker. Proof reader needs a new job.
