He just had a heart attack? Well, he's about to give himself another one.
If I were him, I'd be touring Europe right now.
What, does she need a sugar daddy?
I don't believe her friends are so self-absorbed that they wouldn't notice a boyfriend.
Has she been pretending to be rich for twelve years?
Damn, I want that plane!
My money's on her ex.
His protectiveness is so hot.

Convenience ... to forever! The premise of this book starts out fun, flirty and tempting, then it takes a turn towards the mysterious when someone puts a target on Harper and her big secret. Sebastian's life is downplayed a good bit, and the blackmail twist came across a bit underdeveloped, but overall I enjoyed getting updates on a bunch of the previous Manhattan gang and following Harper and Sebastian towards their happily-ever-after!
When bridesmaid Harper Drake finds out her ex-boyfriend is coming along on the big destination wedding trip along with his new fiancee, she knows she has to somehow save face and have a plus one to take along! Running into socially awkward yet stunning Sebastian at just the right time seems to be kismet. Can she convince this hunky workaholic to accompany her on a trip to Dublin?
Techie Sebastian West just happens to be on some forced downtime when he is approached by Harper to accompany her on an all expense paid trip. The money isn't important to him, but the company of a gorgeous woman makes the offer pretty impossible to resist. As their time together turns tempting, secrets begin to unravel and a blackmailer takes aim that just might ruin the remainder of their time together!

I’m a sucker for a good Desire and this one didn’t disappoint.
Harper finds herself in a pickle. She doesn’t want her ex to know she doesn’t have a date to a friend’s wedding and luckily for her the sexy Sebastian was there to save her… in more ways than one.
Sebastian finds himself with some very unexpected time off work. Something that he is not used to… so what is stopping him when he is offered a trip with the intriguing Harper… nothing.
The sparks fly between these two as Harper opens up to Sebastian and seeks his help with a blackmailer’s threats. He finds himself wanting to protect Harper, but unable to open up about his own truths.
Will they both be able to move past the hidden truths and open up to the possibility of love?

Except things get very hot very fast, for real… And then a blackmailer’s threats force her to reveal all her secrets about being broke!

I have the other books in this series and thought all of them were great, this was no exception. Andrea Laurence delivered with this book great characters and plot from beginning to end. Can't wait for her next book. Hopefully starring either Quentin or Finn.

It's an okay storyline, but why did there need to be a blackmail aspect in this book? The author totally lost me there

I liked Sebastian's job & I liked the hot & steamy scenes. I couldn't get into the storyline.

This could have been a 3 or 4 star if it was longer. Because it was so short, everything felt rushed.
