Abandoned at birth and forced to fight for survival in a penal colony, twenty-three-year-old Zell’s only loyalty is to her bank account. Though she has no clue of her true lineage, her feline mutation gene gives hints to her family tree. Night vision, ultrasonic hearing, and the ability to always land on her feet. Lucky for her, being a galactic bounty hunter is the one thing she’s good at—and the one job that pays plenty of credits. Not afraid to battle human nor beast, she sells her unique talents to the highest bidder.
When Zell is hired to find the kidnapped wife of a wealthy aristocrat, her search turns up one dead end after another. She finally learns that her client is really a diabolical scientist, hell-bent on creating a master race of genetically-engineered humans to do his bidding. Things go from bad to worse when Zell is caught up in a full-scale rebellion. Fighting hideous mutants and an army of Liquidators sent to destroy her, Zell races against the clock to keep the evil aristocrat from using his synthetic fiends to take over the universe.
I'm a multi-published author of sizzling-hot African-American romance. I'm also a Walking Dead fan and a recovering shoe addict. I never met a stiletto I didn't like!
I've always been an avid reader of all romance genres. A few years ago, I decided to share my knowledge of Egypt and Nubia by publishing my first African-American historical romance, entitled Pharaoh's Desire. Then, in November of 2010, I published my first urban romance, The Highest Bidder. Whether I'm writing historical or contemporary romances, I always try to educate my readers and teach them something they may not have known before.
When I'm not writing, I enjoy doing anything artsy, collecting Native American pottery, and indulging in my one true obsession - shoe shopping! I live in Dallas, TX with my husband, photographer Kerry Rand.
