I am all about teachers as leaders and as coaches for one another. We need to do this much more at my school. This book offers specific explanations of coaches' roles (10 of them) along with evidence of why coaching works and examples from real-life. The book also offers online resources (tools) that are not in the book but referenced at the end of each chapter.
I found the chapters on data, catalyst, mentor, instructional, and curriculum coaches the most relevant. Hmmm...now how to implement some of these roles. The online tools should help with this!
