While I still feel there are many inaccurate Amish references in this series I've decided to enjoy it for why I intended to read it in the beginning. Ettie and Elsa May are humorous loving seniors!
Once again Samantha Price has written a great whodunit. I thought I knew early on who committed the murder but wasn't sure why. In her clever way Samantha had me second guessing myself a few times but I kept coming back to my suspect, I just couldn't get my head wrapped around all of her clues. If you love trying to solve a mystery I recommend the Ettie Smith mystery series, each story can be read as a stand alone.
The idea of murder in an Amish community surprised me, so I had difficulty imagining how this story would unfold. I was delighted by this book! The characters are vividly developed, and the plot was well done. It captured my interest from the first word to the last. I received an advanced reader's copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Amish Winter Murder, By Samantha Price. Goes straight to the heart of the story. Poor old Ebaneser , must have had a rough life. He was found stabbed to death. I enjoyed reading about the two sisters and how they argue. Can't wait for the sequel to this one. This was a book I was ask to read for a preview.

This book was very well written. I enjoyed the plot and all the suspects. It was full of twists and turns. It really shows how you look at people and how they come across to you. This mystery series is so well written and I suggest you read them all. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.
I love Amish romances, but I find that the author has a wonderful way of spinning a Amish mystery tale. The two sisters are a hoot, humorous as well as clever. The author has a way of keeping me giggling throughout the stories!
This story is great. It about a murder in an Amish Community. Two sisters help solve the mystery. It keeps you guessing who committed the crime. I recommend it to anyone who like mysteries.
The Ettie Smith Amish Mysteries Series by Samantha Price is fun and relaxing to read. You don't even have to think as everything is laid out. The two elderly sisters are very funny.
Samantha Price is a fantastic writer and this series is hard to put down. It keeps you wondering who the murder was committed by and its always not who you think. I recommend this series to everyone who likes mystery novels.
This is becoming a thing with Ettie, especially when too many balls at in the air. Patricia is a nurse so she’s smart enough to switch a blood sample. Good whodunit story again.
I just love these mysteries!! Etta and Elsa are always in the case! They are the best! Great story line - I couldn’t figure it out!!! Love this srtirs😊
Quite boring and unrealistic. The seniors just seem medling old ladies… First time I read a book from this seried out of interest for the Amish community, not enclined to read another.
Amish Winter Murder Mystery by Samantha Price is the newest of the Eddie Smith mysteries. Samantha has done an outstanding job on this interesting new mystery. The sister duo is at it again. Eddie and Elsa-May are ask by Detective Kelly to help find out who killed Ebenezer. Too many possibilities. Was it the neighbors? The nurse? The grocery boy, or his ex-wife? Of course, Eddie believes she knows the answer even before Detective Kelly does. But, is she right? Read the latest in the Eddie Smith mysteries and find out. It will be just the distraction you need from the holiday season. I was given an ARC for my fair and honest opinion.
