In spite of its title, this book was more of a brief overview of early-aviation history rather than a focus on the Wright Brothers and their initial powered-flight at Kitty Hawk. I was hoping for a more in-depth look at the Wright Brothers, their efforts leading up to their success at Kitty Hawk, and their less-revered aviation efforts post December 17, 1903. Also, there were a few inaccuracies in the book; nothing that seriously detracts the reader from the information, but easily correctable.
