Born in Dick Whittington's hospital in Hampstead London, Margaret grew up in Shoreditch, had a career as a Rostrum Camerawoman and Media Manager in the BBC. She started writing at the age of 14. Margaret was published in teen romance magazines whilst still in her teens, later had lifestyle articles published in newpapers. She attended The BBC Script to Screen and Creative Writing courses and her first novel was Jago, inspired by a love of Cornwall and the Cornish. Now a full time author, Margaret writes about what she knows well, Historic Houses and 17thC History. She is a member of the Sealed Knot re-enactment society, and is currently working on a book on historic clothing. She lives in the Cotswolds with her husband and two cats.
