I read somewhere the famous Tamil writer Perumal Murugan writing that in India, one can change religion, but cannot change his caste. Reading this book, I become aware that caste is an indestructible curse befallen on the Indian people. The forces that want to maintain the status quo are becoming more and more stronger.
