First read the story. Ride across the plains with Sacajawea and learn how she was kidnapped from her native Shoshoni tribe. Find out how she was chosen to accompany Captains Lewis and Clark on their expedition to the American Northwest. Discover how this brave young woman helped the explorers survive the difficult journey from the banks of the Missouri River to the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Then copy and color the pictures at the end of this book. You'll learn to draw Sacajawea, her magnificent horse, and more. And you'll have fun learning about the history of America too!
This is a very basic telling of Sacajawea's journey with Lewis and Clark. It has nice enough illustrations and I'm sure it would get young readers interested in learning about Sacajawea.
It also has pictures in to copy and draw for yourself and color them in, as well as a small map of Sacajawea's journey west.
