My beauty got me everything, especially women
But they could never make up for my mother's suicide after my birth.
And one day, I got married
For better -- my beautiful son
For worse -- my lesbian wife with her abusive lover
For richer -- my stepfather who controlled everything
For poorer -- my pathetic life with lots of money and nothing else
What I had to do to get out of this situation is my story
... I'm sure you have yours

From the author of the acclaimed Blackfunk trilogy comes a sexy, edgy novel of lust, greed, and betrayal. Just turned thirty-four and married for four years, Donald has a multimillion-dollar home, fast cars, and all the money he can spend. Too bad it all belongs to his wife and his father-in-law. Donald's mixed-race and exotic looks landed him the wealthy wife he wanted, and all the women on the side he can handle, but they couldn't stop his marriage from falling apart. Now, Donald stands to lose the one thing he really values -- his young son, Emerald. His father-in-law, who has unlimited funds and some serious underworld connections, wants Emerald to take his name and become heir to his fortune. Donald's options are running out, until he meets a beautiful woman with an indecent proposal that could be the answer to all his problems...or the beginning of his worst nightmare. Brimming with heat and drama, Tears on a Sunday Afternoon is a sizzling page-turner that keeps readers' attention from the very first page to its jaw dropping conclusion.

Either You're a Pimp, a Whore or the John

Donald is a bi-racial male whose handsome face grants him whatever his heart or loins desire. Conceived through an odious act, Donald's only joy in life is derived from his four year old son, Emerald, and his grandmother. Residing in the Mill Basin Section of Brooklyn, New York, he and his wife, Lauren, are more so involved in a marriage of convenience for the sake of her wealthy family.

Donald has found relief in the bottom of countless bottles as well as the contours of hundreds of nameless women and steadily searches for that nightly comfort. Residing in a prison of madness, his life was slowly slipping from his grasp.

Money brings about power and with that comes respect. Donald finds himself in search of strength in order to protect his son as well as his sanity. Will this never-ending battle with booze, ladies, lust, revenge and love get the best of Donald or is their room for his resolve?

"Tears on a Sunday Afternoon," is chocked full of drama, goings-on and scheming. Readers are instantly betrothed in the story of a desperate man running scared trying to find an out while extracting revenge and securing loose ends. All while I'm reading, I'm waiting for some sort of reason for all of this mayhem. Although I've been plied with it, I still didn't see the immediate need for such drastic measures page after page. In this script of life, Donald appears to be stretched all over the place. How much elasticity does ones soul have?

Not a bad read, but definitely out of the ordinary. Murders, betrayal and karma should reader's conclude that Dry Eyes on a Monday Morning is coming soon?
