Designed to foster multiple forms of intelligence, Many Ways to Learn presents ten theme-based activity units--one for each month of the school year--filled with suggestions for hands-on activities in eight different modes. Each unit integrates math, science, social studies, and language arts and can be used alone or integrated into an existing curriculum. This book also includes sample lesson plans, blackline masters, parent letters, guidelines for creating multiple intelligence units, plus poetry, stories, fingerplays and more to encourage diversity in lesson planning.
