Read this with my 8-year-old after we gifted it to him for Christmas. We loved the humor! Very easy and fun to read for anyone, but especially for fans of Fortnite. We actually learned a few things about the game by reading this! We're about to order book 2!

This book "The Legend of Battle Island" is based on a game that is famous it's named "Fortnite". If your interested in this book you probably know Fortnite.
This book all starts with the main character "Pete Karterson" waking up in his house to the sound of a panda and a person fighting with guns, He gets scared as the panda kills the person with his shotgun, the panda rushes into his house and kills him. He wakes up again to gunshots near his house and he gives a call to his friend and asks "WHAT'S GOING ON!!!" His friend answers "its battle royale (1v99)." They team up and get better with guns and through the book, you can find information that can help you in Fortnite.
I would give this book a 4/5 because I can see what is going on in this book because I play the game Fortnite.
