In the finale, everything has come to a head and all secrets are forced out into the open. With Khiari on their side, the grass has been cut to reveal the snakes. The West brothers finally know who's been coming for their family, which now leaves them with the heavy question as to why. With their father in the wind, it's up to them to turn the tables and protect their family at any costs. It seems that Elijah has finally managed to push Slim away for good, but her irrational decision to try and move on quickly lands her right in the line of fire. With her life hanging in the balance, Eli finds himself faced with his worst fear as he goes above and beyond to save the woman that he loves. Josiah and Ember find themselves in a unique situation that neither of them saw coming. While Ember is hesitant, Josiah is all in, despite the steep mountain the two will have to climb to make things work. Dakota is dead set against the twosome, however, and her determination to win her child’s father back pushes her to a dangerous breaking point that may end in tragedy. With his family in turmoil and Stephen still on the loose, Isaiah doesn’t know whether he’s coming or going. All that’s clear to him, is that he’ll do whatever he has to to make things right, no matter who has to lose their life in the process. Follow the West family one last time to see if they come out on top, or if their enemies are successful in destroying their lives for good.
Simply put, Sidni B is just a small time girl from Chesapeake, Virginia with big dreams and an even bigger imagination that could never allow her to settle for the boring life of working a 9-5 until retiring. Becoming a published author as always the end goal, but it’s not where the imagination train ends. Upon graduating Regent University with a bachelors in English, the next step is to pursue a Master’s degree in script and screenplay, and hopefully take these talents to the big screen.
Woooooooowwww let me just say that Sid you did that! This series was a roller coaster of emotions lol Idk where to start lol maybe the least problematic
Naomi & Khi: I loved how hard he went for her and didn't care who didn't like it. Naomi was spoiled and Khi gave her what she was needed and then some.
Eli & Slim: Mannneeeee Eli messed up and cause my boo Slim pain and I was ALL the way here for how she handled it. He was lloking for something he already had and I'm glad that he realized it more importantly I'm glad Slim was about to forgive him.
Zay & Kay: LORDDTTTTT Isaiah LMAO his mouth wrote checks that he had NO problem cashing lol It was refreshing to see him fall in love with Kay and protect her with everything in him.
Josiah & Em: LAWD HAVE MERCY! My heart broke for Siah because he really tried to be there for that trash ***, no good ***, Kota. Maannneee I want to box that girl so bad! Just a trashy MF! Theennn enter Ember and she was EVERYTHING! She gave Siah peace and happiness something he hadn't had in a long time.
I LOVED Chris & Avi! Their bond is everything and then some!
Okay nowwww whhhyyyy you let Dakota get off so easy??? Like she should've got that WERK!!!! And how you just going to throw that ending in there and leave me hanging? Lol
This series had me sooo jumpy. First Xavier was dead ass wrong and he should’ve come clean with his family because he knew the shid he had done upteen years ago was coming back. Cheyanne was trifling and scandalous!Khi pulled no games and look at the aftermath. Khi was just what Mimi needed. Slim and Eli finally got it right! Kaydence had been through soo much with that raggedy an mother. Dakota was messed up and no more. Rocko was the snake behind it but she was soo gone. Loved Ember and these protectors. This was a great series; however, the ending had me wanting more!
Picked up right where the last installment left off and I couldn't put it down. Great way to end a great series. Enjoyed the storyline, plot and these characters, throughout the whole series. So loved how the brothers had each other's back and how hard they went for each other...harder for their sister. So glad that everyone got their happy ending. The snakes got exactly what they deserved. I feel like it's a spin-off coming. Can't wait to see what's next from this author. Job well done with this series Sidni B.
OMG this series is lit. I love how my boys and ladies can out on top. Kota was on some stuff that she couldn’t come back from. And I’m glad all the ones that was coming after them got their karma and more. U did good with yet another series and I’m sooo happy to be reading them. Keep doing what ur doing and don’t change nothing
Great ending to a series them Gates brothers are nothing to play with. I felt sorry for Dakota she was really crazy pushing Ember down those stairs. Their father kept that secret for what reason causing all of those problems. I’m glad that Elijah and Slim were able to work it out. That Naomi and Isaiah were able to get past their issues. Great ending
This was a good series. I can’t believe what Dakota did, she lost her mind. I’m glad that they were able to get a handle on things before they got to bad. Thankfully everyone got their happy ending. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Baby that’s how you finish a series. I want to be like you when I grow up!! Kota lived...I guess I’m okay with that. I was ready to kill her book one but you know best 🤣. Great job!
I commend Josiah. He had a lot of Patience with Dakota what she pulled would of had a different ending for her. Xavier was wrong he should of told his Son's what he did.
This series was the best I love how everyone was able to get their happiness but it's sad the not as close as they were to their dad anymore. This is a must read series.
This was a good series especially being that it was Sidni B's first!! She came in like a force to be reckoned with and I look forward to reading her next series!! Good job!
The story took me down a few dark roads and back again. I'm not sure the ending was the fitting conclusion for the story, with a lot of loose ends dangling.
Enjoyable read... The very end was bland, wanted to get more details on them but other than that this was good. I was happy the author didn't try and go overboard like most, especially with the killing at the restaurant. I'd follow up with another story from this author.
