About the author

Andrew Matheson was a Canadian-British rock singer, most noted as a founding member of the British proto-punk band Hollywood Brats in the early 1970s. He later released two solo albums, and garnered a Juno Award nomination for Best New Solo Artist at the Juno Awards of 1995.

Good overview of the M-series film Leicas up through the M6. A little light on the M5, though.

Nice appendix with a full list of all Leicas up through the M6.

Could have used some more copy editing, there are some spelling errors and out of place sentences, but nothing that prevents understanding.

There is a detailed description of how to use the strap for stabilizing the camera, three different ways. That could have used some diagrams because I couldn't figure it out. I'll go back and try to follow them with an actual camera. He also talks about carrying the camera on the right shoulder, something I've never done in 60 years of photography, including when I was carrying two cameras.

For a lot more detail, I'd read The Leica Rangefinder Way by the same author.
