The history of this revival is fascinating, this book is terribly written and obnoxious. Random CAPITAL WORDS, choppy formatting, scattered and weird. A big disappointment for the most part, but the history of the event and a few thoughts and sentences at least warrant a 1 star. Don't learn about this story from this book.

I agree with the other review here, it is a hard book to read because of formatting and style. That said, the entire point of this book is the power of God‘s promise, and on that point it delivers. We would do well to get beyond expectations of form to focus on the truth that is stated so boldly here, if not eloquently.
