A prayer,
Suggestions for putting your new insights into action.

This Bible is perfect for personal devotion and reflection and for leading small groups. It will guide you to a lifelong source of fulfilling prayer, a conversation with God.

Every year I read through a different study Bible, usually a different translation. This year, the Common English translation in this Lectio Divina Prayer Bible. Meant to encourage divine reading and meditation and prayer with notes above many sections to facilitate meditation and prayer. That is helpful and useful. I liked much of the translation, other parts not so much and found annoying and puzzling. Overall a nice study Bible and very readable.
