Exactly for the trade. Not for engineering students. Contains fairly basic high school math. Usually, mechanics have weak grasp in academic. After entering the business, mechanics found they need to make many calculations, or can benefit from being able to do it. This book explains geometry, ratio, volume etc in clean-cut, down to earth text. It describes the calculation process and how and where to apply it in a car. The explanations are very easy to undertand, suitable for adults who might get frustrated quickly when confused. Diagrams are clear and simple. Exercise questions are provided with answers. Aside from technical math, it also contains basic business math. Like I said earlier, exactly for the trade.
