It's no secret that there is a near-epidemic of stress and stress-related diseases in the United States. Here with the cure is The Stress Management Sourcebook. Filled with useful stress-assessment tests and practical, holistic stress-reduction techniques, this second edition will enable readers to "tame the dragon" of stress in their daily lives.
Stress management is an essential skill in our fast-paced modern world. The incidents of stress-related diseases and deaths are on the rise. First off, a little caveat. Not all stress is terrible. You require some tension to feel fulfilled and challenged.
I haven't heard of the author, but he has a Ph.D. I'm assuming it's for the field he discusses. Along with the information on stress, the book contains worksheets meant to analyze your stress levels.
Finally, the book contains helpful tips on how to utilize stress.
The book is slightly old. I found the second edition, but it still manages to be over twenty years old. I don't know if that is a turnoff to anyone.
I enjoyed the book. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.
