Chitlins. Everybody hates them. But there are a lot of people who love them. Rasheeda is one masterful soul food chef with a secret down south recipe for Chicago's best chitlins. Owner and operator of Miss Evey's, an upscale soul food eatery on Chicago's South Side, she meets the seemingly gregarious yet cunning player Krey'Shawn who has plans to slime his way into her life. But little does Krey'Shawn know that Rasheeda already prepared a secret recipe for him.

I had to give a review because not only was the title appalling but the fact it dehumanizes African American women ( I’m just referring to the cover alone). I find the characters poorly thought out, the storyline..?...I will go back to reading books that are more creative and less badgering of African American women.
This is another rollercoaster ride with quan millz the storyline was really fast to read couldn't stop reading this book quan keep writing another quan millz read
Oh lort. Blame your mom, not the men you encounter lady. This was just crazy. I was just hoping Kenyatta got caught and I definitely knew she was the serial killer from jump, especially when she had those fye chitterlings, like I just knew they were human made 😭😭 they were steady saying Rasheeda and the whole time I was just like WHEN ARE THEY GONNA SAY KENYATTA, cuz I knew that was her. When they announced her age, I was like YUP 23 years later. This book was good and man oh man I hated that she was doing what she was doing but I didn’t feel an ounce of sorrow for Krey-Shawn. I hate that she got the plug to where she got help in not getting caught smh GREAT READ THO
This book was so good I only stopped for breaks to go to the bathroom and eat. I honestly thought this was gonna be another coochie thot book but boy oh boy was I surprised. I want to say so much but I just can't give anything away so I'll just say this book was sooooo good.
Man oh man, this one was just really sick. I started to put it down several times, but I remembered how good Mr. MIlls stories are and finished it. Somewhere around the middle of the book I started suspecting that something was wrong with the food/chitterlings. I was shocked. I will never eat or look at chitterlings the same again.
This is, by day, my favorite Quan Millz book. I love the characters and how they intertwine throughout the story. Every character progresses the story taking you on a smooth ride to the surprising end. There is definitely something special about those chitlins! Loved it! Keep em coming!
Wow. That about sums it up. This book had me hooked from the very beginning. Did not expect it to end as it did but okay...made my stomach turn at a few parts towards the end but I got through it. That woman was definitely a like-minded individual. It makes me not want to eat out at good restaurants anymore.
Nice turn of events...reading the first 2 chapters had me changing to another story. But I said I had to push through at least 3 chapters before I quit. Those first 2 chapters was a doozy. But it got better and it took me a long time to realize who rahsheeda really was. That's crazy she crazy.
Quan Millz you've done it again, I always thought that Rasheeda was Kenyatta and also the killer but I must admit I never saw the twist coming. Keep it up can't wait for the next book.
Man see this is the exact reason why I dont eat chitlins now, you never know what you're eating plus they stank! BABY.. when I say this book was good.. it was all that plus some! I couldn't put it down. As always it was not what I expected!
A gut wrenching story. I hope book 2 tells how Rasheeda aka Kenyatta turned out so demented. I loved this book as it kept me thoroughly entertained until the end. Can't wait for the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
Now this makes me now want to eat chitlins ever again, wow she really did that huh? Who would have thought it, can't wait for part 2 I know it's coming, and then there is the police who is he?? So good !
I really enjoyed this book, I can't wait until part two. I wanna know what happen to her and how she became this other person. Is Lil Billy gonna remember anything? Who is the detective really and what's his whole story and finally who is the man that took Billy?
I did not expect the story to take the turn that it did. Rasheeda aka Kenyatta was a monster. I'm looking forward to the sequel to see what happened next. This was not your typical urban fiction novel. This was a mix of urban fiction and a little horror and thriller.
I loved the way this book flowed and I loved even more the ending! I was flabbergasted! Definitely didn't disappoint. Quan is an excellent author. Every book so far has been excellent.
The woman was crazy, she was serving food from a human body to other human. All the time she was the killer. These women hold more secret than man. Quan the book was awesome and cannot wait to read other book you have to offer.
This book was off the chain..with u expecting ending ..krey"shon gt what he deserved...n poor Lil Billy🤦..I can't wait for part two to drop...very good read...q millz...u did it again..4 Eva a fan😘😘
Until reading this I use Ta luv Chitterlings...This book was absolutely amazing.. Quan did his thang!..once again..can't wait to see what they cook up next.
The book started interesting and ended the same way. I don't really know how to feel about this one because through the grammatical errors, and misspells, the content painted a clear pictures, but the plot....
This story, like others in this author's catalgue, opened with something that would grab your attention and make you cringe at the same time. There were a few instances where I was confused due to character/storyline mixups, missing words and incorrect word usage i.e. "she built up an intolerance to the substance " when it shoudl be "she built up a tolerance to the substance" but that being said it could be incorrect on purpose. Luckily, these things were kept to a minimum. Once I realized who the heroine was I had an inkling what the chitlins were about and was not wrong. Hopefully, the sequel will provide us information on the time between Kenyatta and Rasheeda and the appearance of her "brother".
Entertaining story..extreme, violent & dramatic
