This Cowboy Romantic Suspense, and this is the 8th book in Cowboys of Holiday Ranch series. I have read and review the seven first books in this series before picking up this book. This is not my favorite book of this series. I liked parts of this book, but I found parts of this book to be predictable. I guess who did it from the beginning. I did find the ending fill of action. I enjoyed the romance in this book, but I felt the suspense fell soon. I loved the characters in this book like the other books in this series.
This is the second book I've read Carla's book. I liked the story of Sawyer and Janis. It had some good ideas in the book for twists and turns in the plot. But I found at times it wasn't logical and the ending was a little flat. I liked the story but it as missing something.
Guardian Cowboy is a western romance by Carla Cassidy. Ms. Cassidy has provided readers with a well-written book packed with outstanding characters. Sawyer is a lightweight when it comes to drinking and after passing out (as usual) his friends and the bar manager teach him a lesson by putting him in the bar manager's bed. Janis is the bar manager. Did I mention she has a little crush on Sawyer? Janis and Sawyer's story is loaded with drama, humor, sexy bits, action and suspense. I enjoyed reading Guardian Cowboy and look forward to my next book by Carla Cassidy. Guardian Cowboy is part of the Cowboys of Holiday Ranch Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
I read a print copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I loved this story it made me feel warm hearted, kept my interest, and also made sure I wouldn't want to put it down at all. The suspense had me on my seat the whole time. if not for some errands I would have finished this one in one sitting. I would defiantly like to read more by Carla Cassidy.
