This was a fascinating and exciting book and also full of useful and educational information. I loved one trivia thing especially in the book and that was the common saying everyone at that time was told to say before a photograph was taken "Prunes, Papa, potato, prism" this put your face in the perfect smile position for a great photograph. I have since tried it and it really worked. There are a million other little things that showed great research in the times and made the book a joy to read even if it had also not been full of excitement and beautiful romance. An enjoyment from cover to cover. Highly recommend it.
