Scandalous: Secrets in the Pulpit
Pastor Jackson Jones is a man that hides behind Greater Emmanuel. He has let money, power, greed, and sex get in the way of him serving God. Jackson’s world gets shook up when someone from his past comes back. Andre Sullivan is shaking things up with his return. Jackson does everything in his power to keep him away from his daughter, Summer Jackson. While sleeping with her best friend, Lauren, he thinks that he has everything under control until one fateful night Summer and Andre hit it off. Things seem to be going good until secrets are slowly revealed. One secret could very well shatter what Andre and Summer are trying to build. Will all of Jackson’s secrets cause death to be his demise? Will Andre and Summer be able to pull together after the bomb is dropped?

Decent Read
Sometimes leaving a review can become a bit difficult. However I have to be honest. The story itself was intriguing. However there were quite a few grammatical errors is the reason I gave it three stars. Jackson was the devil in the pulpit who used his authority as a Pastor to hide his evil doings. Sadly he was too arrogant to realize that Karma was coming for him from different directions. Sheryl was fed up with trying to be a great and loyal wife to Jackson. Poor Summer was naive about how much of a monster her father truly was. Andre was on a mission to find out what happened to his parents and when the truth was finally revealed. He had no doubts about what needed to be done. I will read part two because as I stated before. The story is intriguing and I always like to give Authors a chance.

Wow. Pastor Jackson was a hot mess. Pastor was in the pulpit and preaching every Sunday but living and working for the devil. He was sleeping with several women including his daughter’s best friend. He was the owner of a strip club, and had people selling drugs for him. Jackson killed Andre’s parents three years ago and Andre came back for revenge. Andre did not realize that he would fall in love with Jackson’s daughter. I hope that Summer and Andrea will find their way back to each other.

Good read. This book tells about the fake Pastor in the churches. Pastor Jackson have strip club, run drugs and a mega church, also his beautiful wife and daughter who he fool. Have all his cronies in the church delivering. Taking church money to run his businesses. It caught up when he got the wrong stripper pregnant and start hitting his wife. Cannot wait to find if Pastor Jackson is alive or dead. Now going to the next book.

Too much
Not sure about this one, as there was just too much going on with the pastor. It didn't seem believable that he could be so dirty and hide it so well. The book wasn't cohesive enough and it definitely needs a good edit. Because it ended with a cliffhanger, I might read part 2 just to see if the pastor gets saved.

🤦🏾♀️ The grammatical errors drive me insane. However I enjoyed reading this book. Sheila had enough & did something about it. I figured Camile would make the announcement in church. Now no telling how many enemies Jackson Jones had made but which shot him?? Maybe Mr. Jerrod????🤷🏾♀️

This book gives a real accurate portrayal of those secrets that keep us sick!! If you dare to open your mind then you'll enjoy the book! I can't wait to read Part 2....

Jackson had an evil soul. He filled his life with unnecessary drama. His crimes and deception was over the top. Storyline kept me reading to see just how much he could/would get away with. Summer was definitely a daddy's girl.

The story of Paster Jackson Jones definitely lived up to the book's title. He was scandalous and held many secrets all while using the bible to keep his flock in line and blind to his unsavory dealings. The story flowed quickly and well. The characters were developed and the content dramatic with a jaw-dropping moment or two. Can we say the Pastor's wife and her final scene? Now what didn't work was the relationship between Summer and Andre. It didn't quite gel. It wasn't written as forbidden as I would have thought. We are told it is, but they spent quite a bit of time apart that I didn't see any grand love or chemistry. I recommend this anyone wanting a scandalous read.

JACKSON PUT THE SCANDAL IN SCANDALOUS ALL THAT HE WAS DOING IN AND OUT OF THE CHURCH HE COULDN'T HAVE READ HIS BIBLE FROM GENESIS TO REVELATIONS AND THOUGHT FOR A SECOND HE WAS HEAVEN BOUND...
