A good overview book. Nothing groundbreaking, but a good place to start.

This is a pretty decent introduction book for people interested in owning a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I have to admit, that after reading this book, I decided my current situation is not right for a CKCS --so in terms of giving information about the dog's breed, temperament, etc., the book nails it. I would say a lot of the book is pictures though, which are nice, but more information is always better than more pictures. All in all, an average book for the price that I paid.

I've recently become enchanted with this breed after pet sitting 2 of them for a week. About 4 or 5 books on this breed are above the rest, and this is one of them. I highly recommend this to any prospective Cavalier owner. A very thorough guide to this breed.
