I was recommended this book by a friend who knows I’m interested in African literature.
I enjoyed the book, I wanted to know what happened, but there were parts of the plot which seemed implausible (and I’m not even talking about the Juju elements ) – and you never really grow to care about the two main characters because of a lack of character developments.

It’s described as a Horror novel but it’s actually quite political and never really that scary.
