I enjoyed this follow up book to murdered by wine. They are separate stories and you don't need to read them in order to enjoy but Kelly and Mike first visit Sonoma in murder by wine and then in this book they are back to lend a helping hand. The two stories are very different and it is only the setting and a few of the characters that are the same. This book is also very different to the normal books by this author in the fact that the main characters are not investigating one murder but in fact a lot left behind by a serial killer. The mystery was good and you pretty much know the reason behind the deaths from the first chapter and then you are left to work out who is behind it. Like usual Kelly and Mike are a great team and you can't forget there big boxer Rebel. The vineyard is just the setting for the murders to take place and you don't need to know anything about wine making to enjoy this cozy mystery.
When several wine owner's are found murdered, the police chief of Sonoma asks his good friends Mike and Kelly to take a look at the murders, in case fresh eyes pick up on something that he and his team has missed. With the body count rising and the break between the kills getting shorter they will have to find the link that connects the victims quickly, if they don't want another body on there hands.
I liked the narrator. There are been several narrator's for this series as the author tried to find the right voice for Kelly and Mike and I think she might have done it with this narrator.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This is book #15 in the series and I’ve read 15. I’m so glad Rebel, the boxer has an important role in this book. Kelly and her sheriff hubby are invited to return to Sonoma to find a serial killer. Several wine vintners have been murdered and the local sheriff can’t figure out any suspects. Even Rebel was invited. What’s fun with the Cedar Bay mysteries is that they eat at top notch restaurants and the author will include some of the restaurant dishes at the end of the book. Kelly and Mike travel to the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs to get more clues. The Broadmoor is a classic historic hotel. Dianne Harman’s books are always enjoyable with a bit of action and that’s where Rebel comes in. Mike figures out who the killer is and Rebel helps tackle the suspect. Great mystery cozy and book #16 is waiting for me to start.

Kelly and Mike can't seem to catch a break--from murders that is. They were finally taking some time off on a staycation when a phone call came through. It seemed that the Sheriff of Sonoma County needed help-desperately-it was requested that they bring their dog Rebel. Owners of vineyards were being murdered! They were flown there in a private plane and were the guests of one of the vintners in a guest house that seemed more like a vacation house then anything else.

The next morning--the owner of that vineyard was found dead!

This case was definitely not like any Kelly and Mike had tried to solve before. So much was happening--so fast. All I can say without giving everything away is--thank heavens they had Rebel with them!!

I was stumped

This series is very good: great main characters Kelly & Mike. Wholesome, no negative surprises (except murder) good detective work. I thought about the killer being who it was in relationship to the victim but never saw it and never thought it was who it actually was. Would love to see Kelly & Mike off the pages and on Hallmark! Recipes definitively trying the flan yum! Thanks Dianne for another good story!!!

This is the 15th in the series. The main characters are Kelly and Mike. They are asked to go to Sonoma to help the Sheriff there with a serial killer . They are at a loss to be any help when the Sheriff's bride to be is the next one to die. When the last one who might be next on the killer's list comes up with what might be a motive for the killing the end up going to Colorado to track down the killer. Can they figure this all out before the last victim dies ?

Excellent cozy mystery!

Someone is murdering the vintners of Sonoma County and leaving no signs of a struggle and no clues. With no suspects, Sheriff Ted Dawson places a call for help to Sheriff Mike Reynolds and his wife Kelly. Soon they are on a private plane to California with their dog Rebel.

Diane Harmon really knows how to craft a good mystery. Sometimes cozy mysteries are a little light on plot or a little too obvious, but this is a full-fledged crime mystery that I really enjoyed.

Wonderful

This was a very good easy read. I like the Cedar Bay Cozy series. Kelly and Mike seem very laid back and easy to like. I wish there had been more of the dog in the story though Rebel did a good job of taking the murderer down. Dianne Harman's books are always a relaxing read.

I like this series but I don't think this one was one of the best. For one the series seems to have changed to focus more on Mike solving the crimes than Kelly and now Kelly just seems to be a side kick who looks adoringly on as her Sheriff husband solves the case. The story line was good and I would love to tour the wineries after reading this book.

A very enjoyable read!

I love cozy mysteries and this was one of the best! I had no clue until the very end; that's what me engrossed. I loved the little glimpses into how the rich and famous live, the scenery that,
I'll never get to see in person and the great recipes at the end of the book.

Back to wine country

This was an interesting story about murders and revenge. Mike and Kelly are asked to work on a series of murders of vintners. There are no obvious suspects, so they look for someone who isn't.

Broken Heart

Sheriff Mike and Kelly are asked to help with a serial killer in Sonoma. As every kill site has no evidence as to who the killer might be, it takes some thinking outside of the box to figure out this whodunit~

Who’s watching Kelly’s coffee shop?

Kelly and Mike go on these jaunts and find murderers. They are going to have to change the name of the coffee shop to Roxie’s. This was a good book and I can’t wait to make the coffee cake muffins...yum

I enjoyed reading this story. It was interesting to read about vintners and their wineries. Good detective work and was happy to see Mike front and center solving the crime. I sure didn't guess who the killer was till it was revealed.

This was an in depth murder mystery Kelly and Mike find themselves involved in. Someone is killing different winery owners in the Sonoma area. The story is full of emotion as Kelly and Mike dig deeper. The story includes wine details and food. There’s also a little romance and dogs!

Never drink and drive!!! Also, I don’t think that I would ever want to own or work in a winery in Sonoma!!! It’s a good thing Rebel is around, isn’t it??? I enjoyed the story and recommend the book.
