Ainsley Shay

Ainsley Shay avoids insanity by living mostly in the fiction world. She believes surrounding herself with positive people, and strives for balance in everything. She owns more jeans with rips and holes than without; and has recently found the magic of patches. For her, reading or writing the perfect sentence is better than the smoothest piece of dark chocolate melting in her mouth. She is a deltiologist for pure enjoyment, not for the study of. She longs to move north one day, even though she hates the cold. (Go figure!) So, for now, she continues to live in warm south Florida with her incredible husband, three beautiful daughters, and two lazy cats. (We won’t mention the dog.)

I adore where this series is starting to take me, but I hate it, just a little, that this book is over already. So many possibilities are starting to open up and don’t know which way the story is going to go. I don’t even know which way I want to the story to go. There’s light on Everly’s horizon. There might be a solution for her, but will she survive all the secrets that are uncovered along the way? I’m frustrated at where this book ends, yet I’m tantalized by what might be coming next.

Book 3 of the immortal trails by Ainslay shay. This book again is action packed and with a few love intriges. Mina her best friend found out in the previous book about the powers from Everly. In this book Mina has a less prominent place in the book but when she appears it's almost hilarious what is happening or going to.

Everly in this Book is trying everything to stay alive but when she hears a very shocking piece of information, she is determined to find out the truth. And where is Dragan the hot guy? In the first half of the book I really missed his presence. Also in this book she gets to know a few more immortals (vampire's) but she is anything but happy about it.

I reallyyyy loved to read this book and really to wait till book 4 it hurts. I have soo many questions and I finally have the idea that soon they will be answered :D .

Oh I just love this writer's work!
This series is full of unexpected turns and twists, leaving you gasping as you read that final page.
For those that have followed this series, Everly hasn't given up the fight, has developed a couple of new skills and a couple of pieces of collateral that should serve her well.
If you haven't read the books 1 & 2, then I recommend you do so, prior to reading this book, so the whole storyline is revealed, at least to a point.

Everly's story continuous. I love to visit Veil Rock. The time for the Hunters Moon is getting closer. Tension is building. A lot of new faces in this installment. Very well written series. Paranormal beings but described to make everything feel so real and realistic. Makes you feel that you are right there in Veil Rock. Great read. Definitely a 1 click series.

Very enjoyable great reading

I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. I can't wait to see what will happen next with her and Dragan and of course with the ritual coming up. I was sad that Boone the owl was killed.

Excellent story. Book 3 really has picked up the pace and has left me reeling to find out what is going to happen in book 4. Book 4 has been pre-ordered and the next week or so can not go by fast enough!
highly recommend this series as a great read!

Another winner!

The only complaint I have is that it was to short. Have love every book so far. Now onto the next!

Still pretty good the story is kind of repetitive when it comes to the threats and ups and downs. I'm hoping the 4th book has the conclusion.

I thoroughly enjoyed this action packed third instalment of The Immortal Trials.

Shadows in Blood is part of a young adult, urban paranormal/fantasy adventure that also has a touch of romance. The series must be read in order and whilst the series, at time of reviewing, isn't complete the books have been released in fairly succession, so it is worth jumping in if you haven't already.

We're half way through the story now and whilst there are still a lot of unknowns and secrets galore, I did feel as though plot strands were starting to tie together. Whilst I still have NO idea of how the story will progress, strangely enough I did feel as though we made significant headway in this book. I am beginning to build a much clearer picture in my head.

It might just be me but this felt as though it had better pace and flow than book 2. That's not to suggest book 2 was a bad read, rather that this is an even better one! We don't see as much of Cameron, Mina and Raiden in this one, though there are quite a few other characters to meet and place into the story. There are also some surprises and plot twists added into the mix.

In the second half of the book Everly eventually felt like she was taking charge of events. I do like that she acts like a girl of 17 and not as though she were an adult, but time's a ticking and there are A LOT of powerful people plotting her demise! I loved how the story progressed and can't wait to see where the next book will take us.
