Bad poetry about soccer.
Do you like Soccer? Do you like poetry? If you like them enough to read a book of bad poetry about soccer - this might be the book for you.
I'm kidding - no one likes poetry that much - and people who like soccer stopped reading when they they saw the word 'poetry.'
Readers who manage to finish this book will endure a series of pointless essays about soccer. Oh, and lousy poetry - the worst of which comes from Merrill himself.
The good news is that this book is thin. You can use it to prop up a wobbly table.
