He was born in Manchester and attended Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and Manchester University. After completing two Masters' degrees (in Classics and Philosophy), he taught English in Istanbul for a year. After returning to the UK, he taught English as a foreign language for several years, and it was around this time that he published his first book, Zargon Zoo (1991).
Four years later, he published Bug Muldoon and the Garden of Fear, and relocated with his family to Wisconsin, United States, where he works as a freelance writer and editor. He also writes books for younger readers under the pen name Paul Cooper. He and his wife and two daughters now divide their time between Cambridge, England, and Madison, Wisconsin.

عن فريق كرة سلة سيء بعد انضمام طالب اسمه سام يلعب جيدًا ثم تحدث مشكلة أن لاعب سام لا يتشارك مع غيره الكرة مع اللاعبين ،لذا لا يلعب الاعب جيمي ثم يتحول إلى الفريق الجيد بسبب اللاعب السام حيث يرضى بتشارك الكرة

The book is ok. It's about team basketball team. In team sports, a player can be very good and at the same time very selfish and try to score goals without passing the ball to other team members. This happens to one of the members in this school basketball team.

The book is about the story of a team that does not know how to win, and a person named Sam came and joined them and made the difference until they defeated the strongest team in the school. A good and smooth book for those who want to learn the language.
