While re-reading The Alexandrian Quartet, I found this lovely, insightful little analysis of the work of these three authors and the way they were influenced by the city and each other. It has added greatly to my appreciation of their writing.

Honestly, I don’t know who I’d recommend this to, being 70s litcrit, but if you like all three of these writers, it’s an interesting read.
